On October 25th and 26th 2022, the DECAGONE partners gathered in Třinec (Czech Republic) for the second General Assembly meeting of the project. On that occasion, Energetika Třinec invited all partners for a very exciting site visit of Třinec’s hundred years old factory premises.
The second General Assembly meeting of the DECAGONE project was a great chance for the partners to meet again after the successful launch of the project in June 2022. Many subjects were addressed including a thorough update status on all project work packages and the upcoming submission of the first project deliverables, namely D1.1 “Project Management Handbook” and D9.1 “Plan for the Exploitation and Dissemination of the project results” (PEDR). In parallel, the partners were invited by Energetika Třinec for a tour of the factory premises, including the hundred years old blast furnaces and foundries. Then, a time was dedicated to the presentation of the demonstration site where the ORC demonstrator will be built and installed. It was an intense and very productive workshop and a wonderful opportunity to anticipate the most awaited result of the DECAGONE project!
